What bekk practice is

Bekk Practice works with fascia, scar tissue, and the autonomic nervous system — the connective layer linking what happens in the body with how it feels to be in it. Grounded in evidence-informed fascial and scar therapy, we translate complex physiology into techniques people can actually feel and use themselves: tap, pull, move.

The goal isn’t to promise a fix. It’s to give people simple, well-founded tools that can support the body’s own capacity to release tension and regulate stress — at home, without special equipment.

The approach

Most tension and stiffness aren’t treated where they start. A scar from years ago, a pattern held in the fascia, a nervous system stuck on alert — these can all show up as discomfort somewhere else entirely.

Bekk Practice looks at the system, not just the site of pain. That’s the thinking behind the bekk practice triangle: three simple techniques — tap, pull, move — that work together to calm the nervous system, restore fascial glide, and help the body keep what it gains.

Behind the practice

Bekk Practice is led by Vincent Bekkering, MSc Physiotherapist, based in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Since 2015, he works in St. Gallen as a physiotherapist and coach for stress and emotion processing, and teaches in-house workshops and abroad.

His 2020 master’s thesis (Donau-Universität Krems, in cooperation with the University of Ulm) examined the therapeutic relevance of REMovement® within Boeger-Therapie®, focused on the connection between physical and emotional wellbeing. His work brings together physiotherapy expertise with a holistic, root-cause approach to physical and emotional tension — the same thinking that shapes everything Bekk Practice teaches.
